You can only join a guild of YOUR faction. These are used in Guild crafting and usually donated to the guild treasury to craft different things (Guild uniform, Elite Faction Uniform, crafting materials, etc.) Faction Seals are counted as a evolution material so it’s not really a crafting material. Faction uniforms:įaction Seals: Factions seals are given after every Faction Quest. This is important because there is a Qi Gong quest that requires a certain Faction Rank to acquire the quest item. Leveling up your Faction Ranking gives you access to more things in the Faction store. You will lose all your accumulated Faction rep though…įaction Rep: You can level up your faction rep by doing Faction quests, Faction dailies, or simply defeating Faction captains. You can always change Factions at the cost of a few silver (to buy the uniform). Both factions do the same things, the only reason why you choose one is so that you can join a guild. The two Factions are Wulin Alliance(blue) and Huntian Cult(red) Usually the two factions are balanced in the number of people.
Choosing a faction will give you access to Faction Quests, Dailies, and Guilds. When you first start off in Blade and Soul, you will be prompted to chose one of the two factions during the Main Questline.
